Hi guys,

my other problem with MC15 is that some songs I like to listen to with a different pitch and/or speed. No problem so far using the DSP studio, but with MC15 I started encountering lacks during playback!

This cannot be due to defective files since it does not occur with other players and rarely two times at the same point inside a track.

Is there any setting that could help?

What are lacks? 

Skips?

Small periods (0.1-1.5 seconds) of silence.
And sometimes (not as often) pieces of about the same length are cut out of the song.

I am running MC15 on a Windows 7 64 Bit machine with 16 Gigs RAM and a quite strong CPU that only males would buy , so it's unlikely to be a problem of performance.

I did not encounter these problems with a much smaller machine and MC13, but that one was running XP 32bits.

The problem persists a complete reinstallation of the system.  ?

Possibilities...

A virus checker.

If played from a network drive, a network issue.

In settings for Audio, try WAV Out, Direct Sound settings.  Try adjusting the buffer size.

Is it only when you alter the pitch or speed?

Fixed: A DSP plugin that worked in chunks (instead of continuously) could cause playback stutters. (applies to included Tempo & Pitch plugin)
