I read a lot about video streaming to an android being possible now. Does this als mean that it's possible to watch a television program on my android using Gizmo

It is. You need the latest builds of both Gizmo and MC.
Conversion for streaming to the Android can take a long time but it is cached so the second time it's faster. We've also begun working on pre-converting video. There is an option to do this buried somewhere. See JohnT's post from about a week ago for details. This will be improved in the future.
Significant CPU power is required.

Thenks for the answer. I've got a Intel Celereon DualCore 1.9Ghz together with a Nvidia ION chipset for all the graphics
I Don't want to buy another one. What considerations should i make when buying an external USB TV Card
