Auto .iso unmounting facility when Stop pressed?
« on: October 09, 2011, 12:44:56 am »

Is there a way to configure video in options so that an iso is unmounted when the Stop button is pressed? I use AnyDVD HD and it's refresh rate change facility, so an unmount when i press Stop would nicely return me to my desktop 60Hz where my mouse does not skit across the screen.

Cheers

I don't currently use/rip iso so I don't have first hand experience on this - but when I did have iso's I used the Slysoft program "Virtual CloneDrive". In this progrm there is an option (under preferrences) to unmount the image after stopping. How do you mount the image now and what program to you use?

Thanks for that.

I'm actually using VCD, but hadn't interpreted that feature of it, and from memory don't recall it, but guess my memory is bad! I'll take a closer look, any idea how VCD referred to the unmounting feature?

Just checked, can't see that feature in the VCD settings. Any ideas?

Read through this thread at Slysoft http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=49246
If that doesn't help, i saw a few other threads (but didn't read) in the Virtual CloneDrive topic/forum that seemed to be similar to your problem.
