1) I have MC17 managing Itunes files.  If I install MC18 I would want it to manage the same files. So can MC17 and 18 manage the same files without causing confusion
2) Another post talks about copying your MC17 library to another drive before installing 18.  Is this copying process inside MC17 or a directory copy and if so where is the Mc17 Library Is it under windows 7 in user/roaming/jriver for example.
Is there anything I should beware of when installing Mc18 with 17 e.g should I not take defaults for where it is installed because it will overwrite 17.

Just install it.  MC will find your old library and make a copy of it in the new location.

I have installed MC18 but it seems identical in look to MC17. I can't see any differences.All menu items seem the same etc.  What am I missing.

Speed is about 5% faster and many small improvements not listed above have been made.

We're at build 78, so you can still expect to see some additional changes.

Will it pick up DSP and PEQ settings from v17? Dont really want to go through the process of re-keying 40 odd peq entries.

Settings and your library are migrated automatically.

Remember that settings like PEQ are included in a library backup, so you can also do a manual backup / restore.
