Welcome to the forum.  The wiki has topics on "Media Network" and "Network Access".

MC needs to be installed and running on the PC.  You can run "Media Server" on Windows startup and that will be enough.

The Access Key is generated on the PC under Media Network settings.  In the same place, there is a test.

Did you try the Network Access topic on the wiki?

On the server, the default port is 52199.  It's set in the Media Network options.

The firewall may be causing you problems.

Try an Internet search on how firewalls work.

MC uses ports 52100 to 52199.

Usually your firewall will ask the first time an application tries to use a port.
