Sound cutting off last few seconds
« on: March 30, 2015, 08:29:07 am »

Playback of audio files has the last 2-3 seconds cut off of each song.  Any cure for this?  I'm using WAVs that have been ripped in MC.

check you settings in Audio/Track Change. Sometimes the combination of the chosen switching  method (like cross fading) and checking the box to not play trailing silences.  Play around with the options, you'll find one that works well for you I bet. If you are not using MC as the renderer, maybe the DLNA device can't handle gapless too.

This is often noticeable for classical music. I actually use the Alternate mode set-up and set-up a separate zone for that.

Thanks.  Unchecking the box about not playing silence did the trick.
