Please try another output. Direct Sound, WASAPI, ASIO. The wiki has a topic on Audio Setup.

I have been using ASIO from day one. Now it doesn't work. I am also having the same problem with WASAPI. I get no audio from direct. Is there a way to go back a version ?

There is no problem with audio in the current version. Make sure audio works in Windows. Control Panel > Sounds.
Another application might have "exclusive" use of the audio driver.
