Is TMT6 still the best option for blu-ray menus and 3D?
« on: July 20, 2015, 06:59:52 am »

I guess I'm old fashioned, but I simply don't have the time to convert the bonus features to MKV and re tag them.
Also, I do like some of the PiP features that many discs use - which converting to MKV would lose too.

So, is Arcsoft's abandoned TMT6 still the best option for playing BDMV folder structures over a network? If so, is there a script for closing MC20 to avoid conflict with IR functionality?

Finally, Will MC21 usher in blu-ray menus?

Thanks again all. Still delighted with MC.

VERY unlikely, from what I gather.

Download the free trial of PowerDVD 15 and try it with 2D and 3D.
I use to use TMT6 but now use PowerDVD 15.

Thanks Stewart.

Is it as easy to integrate with MC20 as TMT6?

Thanks Stewart.

I don't know, cause I've never done it. I just close one program down and open another from my Harmony IR Remote

I am looking for a TMT replacement that plays 3D Blu-Rays also.

I'm currently looking at updating my guide based on PDVD / Stereoscopic Player instead of TMT and how best to integrate this with MC.  Should be done by the end of the weekend.
Thanks

OK - Posted my script for Integrating 3rd Party Players in MC (eg for Full Menu and 3D Bluray Playback)

I could update it for TMT6 as well but as the player is now deprecated ....

Torq - I've merged your last couple of posts to the Integrating 3rd Party Players in MC (eg for Full Menu and 3D Bluray Playback) thread to keep it all in once place and will respond there.
