I am 99.999% sure this used to work:

Downstairs, select a program to watch (pre-recorded, or movie, whatever) in Theater View.  Watch it, for a while...stop it.

Go upstairs, select the same program, and it starts from the beginning instead of continuing from where I stopped it downstairs.

Both PCs are a client of a Server running MC 20 (build 132).

Am I crazy??  Didn't this used to resume?

Try using the stop button, not pause.  Stop sets a bookmark.

I am using the stop button.  In reality, I am using Cntrl-s, but I believe that is the stop button.  It appears to work on each individual client.  In other words, if I continue watching on the same PC, then it maintains the bookmark.  Also, if I restart the PC, it appears to pick up the bookmark on the other client.  but I typically leave MC running in theater view 24/7.

Try Ctrl-P.  Or, for testing, try the stop button.

I tried the stop button, and it had the same behavior.

Steps to reproduce.

2 clients connected to server.

1) launch both clients in theater view
2) select video on client A and watch.  fast forward, or watch long enough to get in a bit.
3) press stop on client A.
4) go to client B (already in theater view)
5) select the same video you watched on client A and play it.

On my system (which by the way is 2 new fresh installs of Windows, and it was doing it before the new install) it will start the video from the beginning 95% of the time.  Every once in a while it will actually work, but it is very rare.

still not working...this is spanning 2 different PC's with 2 different OS installs (Win 8.1 and Win 10). 

The only thing that has stayed consistent is the server...is it possibly a server issue?  If so, where to look?
