Win XP Pro Crash w/v9.1.279 & 9.1.308

Help Please-

Why does ver 9.1.279 & 9.1.308 restart my Win XP Pro system after about 15 mins of playing either from hard drive (Library) or from CD.  Didn't have this problem w/9.0xx and files, cd's work fine with other media players.

Any helpful suggestions welcomed.

Thanx,

Could you post your system info here (from MC's help menu). What format files are you playing (mp3?). Are the CDs audio or data format? Also, what are your current playback settings (Tools/Options/Playback) and what is your audio card? Which, if any, DSP's do you have active? Visualizations?
You might try uninstalling/reinstalling MC and also looking for updated drivers for your audio/video cards.

If your computer is rebooting, it's a hardware problem.  Reinstalling drivers might help.  Check control panel/system/hardware/devices to see if any problems (yellow) show up there.
