opening .mjr attachments
« on: October 19, 2015, 01:48:31 pm »

I just joined JR via PayPal yesterday, following a trial period, and had problems getting JR installed. From what I see, I ain't the first.  The PP link did not help even after several hours of trying, so I thought to use a Restore, which worked. I'll bug JR later if I need the tenth restore in the future.

However, I did get an .mjr email about the license but could not open it in my Windows 7 PC. Browsing led me to third party downloads and there were four vendors offered, all of whom were notated as highly recommended.  That does not give me warm feelings. I realize .mjr is owned by JR, so I would expect to get more of them in the future.

If it is a third party's program to download, which?  Is there another (simple) way to do it?

I have the JR license number already so I wonder what could be in the .mjr email attachment I received. Guess i will know when I open it. :o)

thanks  mike

If you have installed MC, then MC should own the mjr file type.  It's the Install Key.  You could read more here:
