Sound stutter
« on: August 21, 2003, 10:30:34 am »

I have now got a multi-zone on my test pc. I put an M-Audio revolution pc. It is 2.66Ghz P4 533 FSB with 1Gb RAM
This pc also has the latest beta build of MC9 running.

I have the digital toslink from the motherboard connected to my Denon AV receiver on a digital input. On the same pc I have the M-audio connected to the Klipsch THX powered speakers.
I now find that when starting playback in MC9  in a 2nd zone, the music on the zone playing suffers a major stutter. This happens mostly when you start playing the 1st song on a playlist or album. Sometimes I get the stutter (or repeating, whatever the correct term is?) in zone-1 when a song ends in zone-2 (and vice versa) and a new one starts playing.
Can anyone suggest anything? Please?
Are ther any change of settings I can try for buffer settings or others things to watch out for.
I did change the buffer settings to around 2.5 seconds for both output settings, it is still noticeable.

Thanks
