4k and DLNA
« on: April 01, 2016, 10:52:03 am »

I just want to know if I stream a 4k video through DLNA to a 4k TV (using the TV's own DLNA client), does JRiver actually streams in 4K? If I set out at "original" it still streams, so I assume it is in 4k since I suppose I'd get an error message otherwise, but I have no way of making sure it is the case through the TV itself. If it does, I imagine I could put the setting back to "specified format when needed". The clips I'm sampling look pretty darn good though, so I'm 99% sure of it, but I want the remaining 1%!

If you have set MC to stream "original" then that is exactly what it is doing...

Thought so, but it's nice to hear it from someone else!
