In my dream ,
-i had a window where i was able to see the songs i selected to be burn
-I was able to burn a cd 'on the fly' without converting it to WAV first
-If i wanted to make a read book cd from more than one cd , i had just to open the Burn cession ,rip the tracks i wanted from each cd and ,as soon as the song rip, had it queue in the burn window
_ If i wanted to make some data cds for my CD player playing only mp3 ,i was able  ,after my selection done, to set to a convertion format of my choice and all OGG,WMA, APE,MPC ect got converted and burned 'on the fly'.
Not changing the original file.

DREAM ...Not sure .. because all of it exist already , only you have to use  more than one program.

Would be so great to have all of it under the MC roof...

I was really exited by the new MC burn fonctions.

But after few data cds ,i just gave away. To burn tons of mp3 cds when you do not see what you are doing when selecting is just to much a VERY BIG pain in the ...snow

Found it for dirty cheap , good record ,even if few songs to much on the New Age/Fusion  side to my taste

The second one's already there (unless your burner is 4X speed or less). The first item will probably be in an upcoming build. The fourth one is very likely for the not too distant future. The third request can be added to the wish list.

First ,sorry about the 'burn cd on the fly'.Not long ago a Jim's answer to a post said no about this feature.
So ,first good news.

If 'a window' [ you know what i mean] in one of the next build ,i would be VERY happy.

The 2 other features are kind of 'smart extra'
The one to make compilation from more than one cd is really neat.
The convert/burn on the fly one may be of use for people with cd-car player and discman.

But my dream did not tell me how hard ,or not ,all this things are to built..

BTW: don't know if you were aware, but Merle Saunders used to play quite often with Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead.  Simply named 'Garcia & Saunders' they made for a very good concert.  I was fortunate enough to have seen them several times (what do you expect from a 'Dead Head' ??)

Yes ,i know.
I have the records since very long time [== lp for 2 of them]

But ,unlike you never saw them...what can you expect from a french DeadHead..... not that much concerts.
Less than 10 concerts, for sure.

Here i know some with more than 2000 hours live shows on tape...and they taped it themself....
Cannot say they are really 'clean' ,even today...They are kind of mystic,kabalistic religious still smoking a full field a week........

Yes, much of the archive available was old stuff and the recording technology was neither cheap or portable if ya wanted a good clean tape. Digital? They hadn't heard of that back then and when they did it was REAL high end stuff, again neither cheap nor portable.
To compound the problem, once it began to be digitally encoded, hard drive space was costly too so even decent recordings were often archived to real low bitrates in poor/lossey formats (24-32kbs .ra crap is common      . . .  oh well) so sounds poor and cannot be played in some software.
Yet much of it is so good that it ALMOST makes up for the poor quality

Since few years we have Dick's Picks and ,first of all,From The Vaults  series.
With ,as you know much, better sound than 56789 th generation cassette.

From The Vault is ,by far ,the best of the two series.

Since i have FTV two-Shrine Auditorium-1968- i allmost do not play LiveDead anymore.
Constanten makes this record much better than LiveDead.

Well ,it is only  my opinion ..but i agree with myself.......
