I asked this in the Pi 3 thread but as I'm not getting resolution I thought I'd pop it to a new topic and see if I could get a response. After several self created technical challenges, I finally got MC running properly on the Pi 3. Not that it makes a difference but I'm running the HiFiBerry digi so the whole thing sounds pretty good. After everything was sorted, I tried installing the license.
Here's the process I used:
1) went to the restore page
2) entered my Master Registration code
3) The new .mjr file went to my download directory
4) followed the process on the sticky, mediacenter21 /RestoreFromFile ~/Downloads/"Media Center21 Master-YYYYYY.mjr"
The system then said "License restored successfully"
5) Started MC, received the message "The trial period has expired."
I've tried this several times now with the only effect being a decrement in the number of resets I have left on my master.
What am I missing?
