21.0.76 randomly double up some tracks

Just updated to 21.0.76.

Certain albums now have some track listings duplicated, like two duplicate copies of the album in each folder.
It shows the songs linked from the same folder and location, IE my hard drive does not have duplicate files.
There is no rhyme or reason to the duplication and it ranges from very old to very new albums.
Also not every album has every song duplicated, some only have one or two tracks duplicated.

Not sure what to do about this, it is a mess, and I also just wanted to bring it to attention in case other people see this behavior.

Just restored to 21.0.66 and everything is back to normal.

Something definitely seems askew in 21.0.76.

i'm glad you have backed up too...
this build changed my database too for strange reasons,
never happened to me before with JRiver...
i'm glad to paranoid with softwares...

OK, I downgraded as well. Any other action required? I did not do anything else like restore libraries.

21.0.76 includes files ripped to folders that are not supposed to be part of the library. I ripped a disc to F:\Music and it ended up in my library with doubled tracks after I copied it into the shared folder that _is_ part of the library (\\NUC\e\Music):

F:\Music\The Beatles\Let It Be (2009 Stereo Remaster)\01 - Two of Us.flac
\\Nuc\e\Music\The Beatles\Let It Be (2009 Stereo Remaster)\01 - Two of Us.flac



This did not happen before 21.0.76

Edit: Sorry, I posted this in the Mac forum and I'm running MC on Windows. But it does appear to be a common problem.

Could someone experiencing the track duplication problem in 21.0.76 email me a library backup?

Build 21.0.77 should fix this issue; however, it won't remove any duplicate files in the library. If you have duplicate files created by the bug in 21.0.76, you could try restoring a recent library backup.

Thanks Brad :) So nice that MC automatically backs up the library so this was easy to recover from.
