Convolution question
« on: May 02, 2016, 06:10:28 am »

I am using Media Center's DSP Convolver function.  The source/input files (individual tracks) are all properly named with track title.  Processing will be performed "offline" for later playback on an entirely separate system.  Therefore, the Convolution process MUST write the corrected file to disk so the files may be transferred to the external system.  At no time will Media Center play audio "live".  HOWEVER, after processing with Convolver (output to disk using Disk Writer - perhaps there is another way to output the DRC files?), all file names are only of the format "Disk Writer - {timestamp}" and eliminate all information/text which may assist in identification.

The track/file names must be preserved.

How do I accomplish my goal of retaining/preserving track/file name during convolution?

Select Tracks > Right click > Library Tools > Convert Format > Options > DSP Settings > Convert
