« on: May 18, 2016, 05:03:32 pm »

Hi & thanks for the inclusion in the Beta

Engen installed

New version of OneRemote installed.
  • Added Devices & links
  • had to add port forwarding rule on the router to get it to work (I'd forgotten about this - long time since I added the one for Gizmo / JRemote)

regards,

Steve

Thanks.  You shouldn't have to use port forwarding if everything is on the same LAN.  But good to hear it worked.

Did you try adding a photo to the buttons?  Press and hold a button to edit.

Underlying firewall issue now addressed.  Port forwarding removed for local Lan

Have added images I got for 'On' and 'Off' from the internet.  They get stretched a little

We can address the stretching later.  For now, try choosing an image that is a horizontal rectangle.

I use photos that I take of the actual light.

You can store both on and off in a single button.  The entry of the second link is a little awkward (and will be fixed).  After the first link, go to the next line (where it says Data) and type the second.  Then save.  Your button will send on, off, on, off when you press it.

Jim - On and off working on a single button.  thx

Had trouble getting to the 2nd line when editing an existing button.  Created a new one instead

Have lost Engen from the system tray, although it is still responsive.  Will investigate tonight
