Windows 10 Anniversary Update and WDM
« on: August 12, 2016, 02:25:15 pm »

Ever since the install of the Anniversary Update my WDM hasn't worked properly (it had been fine since the the feature was introduced). I am getting clicks and pops when using
Chrome, Amazon player, or Pandora as my source. These sources all work fine when routed through my Out Of Your Head app. Buffer changes have no effect. I reinstalled JRiver 22.0.15 to no avail.
Any thoughts, solutions on this matter? Thanks.

Try this:

Exit JRiver MC22.0.15, Use Windows Control Panel and uninstall the JRiver WDM driver from there.

Re-install MC22 by double clicking the MediaCenter220015.exe executable, follow the usual install/upgrade process.

Restart system.

Not guaranteed to fix your issue but it has worked for me in the past.

Just to be sure, I re-installed the Windows 10 upgrade. This seemed to clear up some miscellaneous problems I was having (video stutter, etc.).
