Cover art problem

I set MC to store images inside files rather than in the cover art directory but when I do a periodic check of the cover art folder there are hundreds of images there.  I delete them but the folder soon fills up again using up valuable disk space.  Can anyone tell me why this is happening.

I'm running the latest Beta.

I know there was a nasty cover art bug in v8...wonder if they fixed it since then. I'll have to do some in depth beta bug testing strategies for ya.

Don't worry JLee, I'll get to the bottom of it. Have no fear buddy.
