Transport Controls with Universal Remote Control

I would like to be able to use my Harmony remote control "transport controls" (play, pause, stop, next, previous...) in MC.

Using the information in this wiki:
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/User_Defined_Global_Keyboard_Shortcuts
... and some other information on this site, I programmed my Harmony to send certain commands via the transport control buttons. And I included the matching relevant information in the \Data\Custom Resources\Resource.xml file.

Still, the program does not respond to those inputs.

Any ideas how this can accomplished?

Thanks for the reply, but none of that information led to a solution. It did lead, unfortunately, to some behavior out of MC that could best be described as "psychotic." Many reboots later, I was able to get back to where I started.

Does anyone know how to make transport controls work in MC?
