Only able to play "recent" recordings on JRemote in MC22

Suddenly (possibly associated with the latest update a day or two ago?) I can only play the music listed under the "recent" category, the other categories like Artist, Albums, Composers, etc. display and even say "All tracks will play now" when a track is selected but they won't play.
Any idea what is causing this problem? Thank you!
