Media Center Stops working when movie starts
« on: June 10, 2017, 02:28:29 am »

Each time I start a movie the window will open saying movie starting showing the cover of the movie and then when it gets ready to play the "media center 22 has stopped working" popup displays and it has to be closed.  This has never happened before tonight.  It repeats every time using many different movies.  If I go to the folder and play it in a non full size window it will play until I go to full screen.  Movie plays in cyberlink. I have attached log file for review.

PC has been rebooted several times, media center was uninstalled and reinstalled, makes no difference.

I don't think this is a JRiver problem.  Take a look at this thread for ideas:

You may be right, but it seems odd that it plays full screen in cyberlink  and plays fine in media center in window standard view.  It only crashes when in media center full screen display view or theater view. This seems to point to a possible conflict with madvr?

If you think it could be madVR, try setting MC video to Red October Standard.

Yes, when I get home tonight i will do some more troubleshooting.  I not sure, but cant remember any recent updates that would have created a conflict.  I watched several movies last week without issue.

Turns out that I had recently enabled stereoscopic 3D in Nvidia control panel for 3d playback. Once I disabled this it works fine.
