stuttering/hesitation on playback

Thought it was just some bugs in the early versions, but I am having (v.41) continuing issues with my music briefly stuttering/hesitating when playing. Seems to be mostly confined to high def files.

This happened once in awhile with MC21 and 22, but it is much more consistent on MC23.
