First bad experience since rebuilding my server. Guessing due to six recordings at the same time. But I did recently update to v23.0.70

9p-10p three recordings - all good.
10p-11p six recordings - four good, one a few garble spots, one completely garbled unwatchable.
11:34p one recording - only recorded 100MB file.
11:35p Windows logs report MC crashed.
All scheduled recordings after the MC crash did not fire.
This morning found Windows error/crash dialog for MC on screen and two Tuners locked (showing in use) until I let Windows shut down MC.
Basic MC TV log says the 10p-11p recordings all started/finished on time, but the 11:34p recording "Timed out". Nothing shown in log after that, except EPG update which didn't happen until after MC had restarted.

I have just turned on MC logs and will post if/when happens again.

Excuse me for asking but when do you get to watch all this recorded tv  ?

......My ceton SNR numbers are way better, especially on the "local" mpeg2 channels. I'm close to retracting my statement about MC recording abilities being flawed. So far so good... let's see how it goes late Sept prime time premiere week.

Here we are deep into the new tv season and it's not looking as good as I hoped for MC recording... Just getting around to watching a few of the 10pm shows from last week, and some of the four I had said were good actually turned out to also have several glitches. Especially bad in the 2 minute overlap at the top of the hour. I hoped that rebuilding my server with 2017 hardware would help, but apparently not. Sadly I now find myself seriously trying to avoid recording five or six shows at the same time. Not easy because many of these shows air one time, there are no "make-up" broadcasts.

I have thrown some more money at the situation- I've disconnected the Ceton, purchased two more HDHRP boxes, and added a 3rd cable card to my comcast account.

Tonight will be the first real world (more than 5 tuners test) with this change. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I really do love MC all around.
