Either *should* be okay, but make sure you enable DSD bitstreaming to get it working.

I'd keep it on automatic, not that it really matters when bitstreaming DSD anyways.

But, I'd check the last box in the WASAPI settings, Play a little silence on DoP stop (removes click with some DACs). This is assuming, of course, your DSD DAC supports DoP - if it only supports native DSD you'll probably have to use ASIO instead.

"USB support DSD64/DSD128(DoP or ASIO Native)." this is what you mean ?

Yes, it supports both.

OK, I upgraded to version 23.  I just got the Topping D30.  When I select "DSD bitstream in Dop format" most files begin to stagger, with some clicking.  When I uncheck it, it goes away.  Driver is installed for the Topping.

Here are my JRiver settings:

Audio Device:  XMOS USB AUDIO 2.0ST 3066 (ASIO)
No memory playback
DSP & Output Format:  (Either "None" or "DSD bitstream in Dop format") (The latter causes the problem)
Bitstreaming Yes (DSD)
Prebuffering 6 seconds
Play silence at startup for hardware synchronization: none

Windows 10 settings:
Volume 100%
Disabled all enhancements
Where it says select sample rate and bit depth to be used when running in shared mode (what''s that?) I selected 24 bit 192000HZ (studio quality).  Does that even matter?
Both Exclusive modes boxes are checked.

Any advice is appreciated...
