Testing continues.  I'm about halfway thru my first sync with the phone and was just checking up and noticed I have a few dozen audio files and a folder.jpg on the root of the SD card.  I checked settings, and it's set to Music/whatever, and there are hundreds of artist folders in the Music folder, so it's mostly working.

The audio files are from Shakira, White Zombie, REM, Metallica and Garbage.  The folder.jpg is the Garbage cover art.  I have "save cover art to folder.jpg" unchecked.

Not sure why those albums.

I stopped sync when I saw.  I will delete the files in the root and re-sysc.

Just checked, although I cancelled the sync with the cancel button, and allowed MC to 'finish' before telling me it was cancelled, when I went to re-sync, it didn't see any of the files it'd just placed, and shows never synced.  I'd be good if MC kept better track of itself here.
