How to build a wireless speaker connection?
« on: March 29, 2018, 03:58:05 pm »

Does anyone have suggestments:

I am no more able to use analogue audio cables to my active speakers, so I think about a wireless solution:
Maybe a BlueTooth sender from pc/media center/cdplayer and BlueTooth receiver at the speaker side.

Are there experiences or maybe diferent ideas?

Kind Regards
Andreas from Germany

Welcome to the forum.

What are the speakers?  Brand and model?

This looks like exactly what you need, it requires active speakers.

The Speakers are very old, but good sounding KM 52 from the 80s. That means, there get an analogue signal only.
My actual setup is:

- Sources: PC with JRiver Media Center // standalone CD Player
- DAC : Beresford (Great Britain), TC-7520SE Caiman
- Active Loudspeakers : Korn & Macway (Belgium), KM 52

It looks like there are some BlueTooth and also WLAN solutions.
The most important thing will be, to be on high sound quality level, lossless would be perfect..

If the speakers have built-in amps, you could connect to them with an IdPi (or the NUC version) wirelessly.
