32 vs 64 bit in MC 24
« on: April 15, 2018, 07:40:14 pm »

J River: could you please summarize the main feature differences between 32 and 64 bit options with early MC 24 versions and some brief comment as to whether the feature set may merge more during MC 24 development.  Thanks.

MC 64 bit should now be functionally the same as MC 32 bit.

Also keep in mind if you're using plugins (e.g. VST plugins) and the 64-bit build of MC, you'll need 64-bit versions of the plugins for them to work. 32-bit plugins can't work in 64-bit MC (or vice versa). Something to keep in mind if you're a plugin user. :)
