Streaming and JRemote
« on: April 16, 2018, 03:36:00 am »

Hi,
Thank you very much for JRiver 24. The updating process from 23 went very smoothly and everything was up and running in no time.
I am very happy with Radio Paradise being part of the streaming section.
The only “problem “ I have is that I don’t remember/manage to add the streaming section or RadioParadise in particular to JRemote so I have to start the service from the computer which is not ideal. Ive tried for a couple of days but not chance. When I try to add library item from standard view, streaming is not there.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same question but assume it can’t be done.

Hi
Thanks for your answer.
There must be a way we can control the streaming section remotely. I don’t seem to be able to do it either from jremote or panel. It has to be just me... and you :)
Regards

You usually can't play streams remotely.

mcontrol allows for the playing of Tidal, Spotify, vTuner Internet Radio, etc..  Works with MC too.  Nowhere near as good as JRemote but those services do work.
