Congrats, I bought the upgraded master license once again... on first launch of MC24 however it did not automatically find my MC23 library or settings and so I had to open MC23 and 'File->Library->Backup' then open MC24 and 'File->Library->Restore' which succeeded in bringing over my library and I think the settings as well however it did not bring over the selected skin from MC23 which was 'New Cards - Black'.  Shouldn't that be one of the settings it restores from the library?  I believe it handled this properly going from MC22 to 23?

Also on running auto-import to update it with some changes I had made to some files from iTunes it announced updating thumbnails but the progress just hung on 11 of 24564.  Stopping it and running it again is hanging on 'Searching for Files...'

added - it appears even though the 'Importing Media' pane seems frozen if I click on the 'Action Window' pane under it and then click back it updates once.  Seems there is some sort of issue where the Importing Media pane is not updating itself.

Another thing I noticed is under Options->File Locations->Library Backups it seems to remain forever on the 'Media Center 20/Library Backups' folder instead of the latest 24 folder?  Is this expected?

24.0.16 is crashing at startup for one of my Macs (10.7.5). 24.0.15 worked fine.  I turned off library auto update and still have the issue.

Hello,

I had JRiver 22, not 23, and now on 24.0.016, this bugs is still there for me...

When my new Files are tags correctly, i always do a mp3 version in JRiver.

With my SACD files extracted in .DSF are more then 17 minutes...
it fails always to make mp3 version. 16:49 minutes yesterday worked, but not 17:04 and up  :)

Thank you for reading.

Can you attach  the crash report? It should still work on 10.7 but I'm not sure we have an image that old to test with.

i bought my JRiver MC 23 license in January of 2018... Will I need to purchase a MC 24 license? or will my 23 license work with version 24?

Thanks!

EDIT:
not long after i posted this I got an email that resolved this issue!  8)
Not sure if the 2 things are related but either way...

Thanks again!

Upgraded from MC23 to MC24 on mac. Ver 24.0.16 did not retain several of my settings that were saved in MC23. There are no longer any of my "presets" for the tree view for album columns such as Name, Album, Genre etc. The "Disable Volume" setting under Tools > Options > Audio >  Volume was not  retained. It also failed to find my music library.

Backup in MC23, restore in MC24.  Read the options carefully.
