Your License file is for a different product
« on: April 19, 2018, 05:10:16 pm »

Just got an email from Media Center that Version 24 was available for upgrade. I just did that but it will not install as I get this message "Your License File is for a Different Product"  Any suggestions as to what I do next?

Thanks for your purchase.  Did you install MC24?  Here's how the process works:

Oops. Jim beat me. I'll leave this here anyway.

Searching the forum before posting would be my first suggestion. There are lots of topics on this issue.  ;)

If you have installed MC24 and are trying to activate the new licence for it using the mjr file, then this is probably the issue:

If you haven't installed MC24 yet and are trying to install the licence into a MC23 version, you need to be running MC23.0.102 or higher for it to work.
