Hello,
I had to remove and install JRiver several times, because of a problem playing full UHD Bluray content including menus
These movies are intolerably faltering
My computer hardware:

 INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6550
GTX 1050TI

I've included pictures showing the processor and video card performance, when playing these contents.
It was explained to me that this actually means, that the definition of hardware acceleration in the software is not activated, although in video settings, I did choose hardware acceleration.

So instead of the video card decoding the video and everything will run smooth, the processor itself does almost all the work, and everything falters.
Maybe something needs to be changed in MADVR settings.

I will happy to hear suggestions how to fix this problem

Thank you

When the video is playing press CTRL-J to bring up the MADVR OSD and then post that screenshot here, this will tell as more about what is going on.

You also need to tell us how much RAM in on your GTX 1050Ti.

It looks like you are outputing a 23.976fps video at 60hz and your system is not powerful enough to do that with madVR and dropping frames.  To start with you could try:
1) Use MC display rate changer to set 23.976, eg Tools--> Options--> Video--> Display Settings--> Automatic change mode--> On (if your display supports 23.976)
2) Using Red October Std (try with HW Acel On/Off)

I thought UHD could struggle a bit with 4GB of video RAM, although it works. But really 6GB was better.

Also, are you running Windows 10 64bit? Because it could use more than 4GB of PC RAM.

Plus what Jmone says. At 60fps or 60Hz refresh, the PC has 0.016667 seconds or 16.6ms to render each frame. Your PC is taking between 21 and 31ms to render each frame. At 23.976fps the PC has 41ms to render each frame, so that should work for you.

In MADVR Rendering -> general settings

Increase the CPU queue size to 24.

I also have a GTX 1050TI with 4 Gb but 8GB of RAM

That setting change worked form me

Thank you very much, but it's too late.
Yesterday I was in the store and purchased the following components:

I7 8700k
GA Z370M DS3H 1151
CRUCIAL 8GB DDR4 *2
KINGSTONE UV5002.5" SATA 240GB SSD
80+A.PFC MWL 600W COOLERMASTER
MICROSOFT RETAIL WINDOWS 10 HOME

The computer is still in the laboratory, waiting to be assembled.
After I get it back, we will re-install JRiver and hope that this time there will be no more buffering.
At least the excuse of too weak hardware, will no longer exist ...   :)

Hello
Okay I got the computer back after the upgrade.
Now, to my relief, there is no more faltering, when playing movies.
TV screen also shows HDR indication.
However there is still one big problem left:

For some reason, I cannot get advanced audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS-X.
Instead my YAMAHA 3050 shows PCM.

What needs to be done to fix this problem?

Thank you

Search the forum for "ATMOS". You will find lots of information. Basically, you need to Bitstream Atmos to your Yamaha.

Thanks for the comment.
That's exactly what I did.
During the night, I ran a search for Atmos in this Forum.
Unfortunately, the results I found were not specifically relevant to my problem.
It should also be noted, that my English is pretty weak.

I'll check later, if the Bitstream option is available in settings, although it's not the recommended option.

Bitstreaming can be found in MC's Options > Audio section. Click on Bitstreaming (you might have to choose HDMI if you're using that or choose Custom... to customize bitstreaming) and go from there. :)

OK, turning on Bitstreaming, indeed made it.
Now dolby atmos and DTS-X available at last.

After most issues have been resolved, I will consider the purchase of a license.
Since there is no real customer service that can be contacted by e-mail, perhaps I should ask here:
Does the license allow installation of the software on one computer only?
If the answer is yes-  I will be happy to know whether it is possible to purchase two licenses at a special discount price, because I have another computer at home.

Thank you

Does the license allow installation of the software on one computer only?

A single license covers all the computers you own (within reason, of course - but installing on two is easily doable), but Jim can likely answer on your specific use case here. If you have only Windows PCs, a Windows license will suffice. If you have multiple computers using different OSes (Windows, a Mac, Linux, etc.) I'd recommend a Master license to cover all of them.

Just save the .mjr license key file you get when purchasing, and use it to directly register MC on your computers. :)

Awesome Donkey, Thanks .

Perhaps I will explain the situation in more detail.
As I said, I have two computers at home: one is Media Center, which is used exclusivly for the purpose of watching movies.
The second is a standard desktop, and uses me for all other needs.
In other words, it is enough for me that the JRiver will only run on the Media Center computer. However,  it would be nice if it could be installed on the second computer too, mainly to check if the external Hebrew subtitles are synchronized correctly  to the movie.

As for the operating system, on the Media Center I have a brand new Windows 10 64 bit, purchased just a week ago.
The other computer had Windows 8.1 64-bit, which received the free Microsoft upgrade to Windows 10.

You can use one license on both Windows PC's.

Great, thank you JimH

I hope that in the future, Dolby Vision will be also supported, and then it may be the ultimate software :)
