Composer again!
« on: August 07, 2018, 09:23:11 am »

I note that Composer is served up by MC24 DLNA (running on a raspberry pi) but Composer does not appear on the web interface.  I am completely baffled as to how to add Composer to the tree.  I have managed to add it everywhere else (where it's not wanted!) but not as part of the main tree.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Right click on Audio and add a new view.  The wiki has more information.

Tools | Media Network | Advanced | Customize views for JRemote, Gizmo & Panel

You may need to restart Media Center after making the change.

Thanks both for your suggestions.
I had already spent a lot of time going through the wiki and as before never quite found what I was after.
Jim, your comment to add a new view was the clue I needed even though as a description it doesn't quite match the requirement to simply insert one more field.  So I simply used the blank template for a new view and added Composer in there.
Thanks also to DJLegba.  Yes, Composer was already being broadcast over DLNA according to settings there.  The missing Composer was to do with the web interface.

You can add any field to any view.  Start by right clicking on the labels at the top of the columns.

Well, I tried that - right clicking on audio in the hope that I could insert Composer in the tree below.  It didn't work.  I tried with the other audio entries but of course that just put in a superfluous entry below, which would be expected behaviour.
Having said all that, I'm not entirely clear what you mean by "the labels at the top of the columns" because as far as I can see there aren't any.
Anyway, the new view you recommended has worked so many thanks for that.
