I installed JMC because I read that with JRemote I could stream to chromecast.
I can't find JRemote on Google Play though so I wonder if it's removed?
Is there another way to stream to chromecast?

You're right, JRemote is missing from the Play Store. But I thought JRemote didn't support Chromecast (yet), but Gizmo does? Might want to check Gizmo out.

Also, you might want to watch MO 4Media, a new remote for Android devices (and hopefully iOS in the future). Chromecast support is on the to-do list, and the remote app is in active development. The developer said Chromecast support is probably still a few weeks out.

Thanks, I will monitor that new product. Gizmo works with chromecast I just found out, but it's a bit buggy.
I used Plex till now but I can't stand it's not gapless

I also discovered Gizmo compresses the file so it 's not lossless.

Gizmo doesn't compress files. 
If you're using it with MC's server, check the conversion settings for the server under Media Network settings.

Check Gizmo settings for Audio quality level.

Thanks, I can select quality 64, 128, 320 kbps so I thought it's mp3
