Hi! I have a strange MC problem...

When I search for a specific album the result will be, Album not containg all files, that is strange!

Since I only discovered the error on some albums, 3 albums that I remember, there may be several that I have not yet discovered.
Currently, I'm running MC 24 x64 on Win 10 as my main library that runs 24/7 and my network has 4 client connected.

I don’t use AutoImport, I Import Albums directly from Explorer by right click and Import.

Here is some test I ahve done:

1. Test to import again (Not remove Album before) = no new files,
below you also see path to server folder that contains album
 

2. Delete albut but not removing files

 
3. Import Album again from explorer

 
4.   Only that 2 files will be Imported , 1-11 and 14 will not show


5.   If  search with path, same result will be show, only 2 file

6.   If I Delete Album, Then change ALBUM NAME field to ”Standards55 (Deluxe)”, Import It Again, Only that 2 files shows

7.   If I Delete Album, Then change foldername on server to ”Standards55 [2017]”, Import It Again, All files will be show !!!!!

8.   If I Delete Album, Then change back foldername on server to ”Standards [2017]” as original, Import It Again, Only that 2 files shows as before, WHIS IS VERY STRANGE!

Check the tags.

Most likely cause is that the Album Tag is not the same for all tracks

Set up a view that shows your files , show the File Name (path) Tag that way you can highlight all the tracks of the album, then rename the Album Tag correctly

Hi!

I always TAG with "Tag & Rename" and I am 100% sure that all the files in the Album were there from the beginning, I always Import and check that all files exist, however, and I believe that the error occurs after some upgrade of MC or windows upgrade?

If I search on one of the missing files then it should be visible in the search but it doesn't, So if it's wrong in TAG then the search of specific file should work anyway

I renamed all files and Imported then sees everything right, ie all files are there ...

It may be due to two spaces after each other or some strange sign


so the error is partly solved, however, as i wrote before i can missing files in more albums that i did not discover yet.
