My W7 laptop died and was replaced by a Windows 10 unit. Was going to use my key to restore MC. I tried to download the MC trial numerous times. It downloads 6-16%, then sticks. Given enough time, screen says it can't download program.
Never had a problem downloading this in the past. Saw a tutorial post about Windows Defender causing a problem. My laptop shipped from Dell with McAfee protection. If McAfee has to go, I'm fine with that.
What is required to get everything working? Please go easy, I'm no computer expert.
