Use sacd_extract to extract individual tracks from SACD ISO to DSF/DFF files.
You should not use Media Center to convert SACD to DSD.

it would be so much easier if JRiver does not drop the sound of 7 db when converting sacd> dsf

i can't with sacd_extract

libsacdread: Not a ScarletBook disc!
libsacdread: Can't read Master TOC.

found this

That's because the iso is created with a blocksize of 2064 and not 2048.
Therefor we need to convert the iso image to a 2048 blocksize
One method is the following:

1. install a virtual DVD-RW burner drive like TotalMounter
2. In totalmounter mount a new DVD-RW drive, this new drive will become
available
3. Launch ImgBurn and write the original sacd iso image to the new virtual
DVD-RW drive (keep verify on)
4. Open the newly created DVD-RW iso with sacd_extract: no errors anymore :-)

If sacd_extract isn't an option, try ISO2DSD instead.

I also wouldn't recommend using MC to convert SACD to DSD, since it goes through a PCM conversion in the middle. In this case it'd go from SACD ISO > PCM > DSD (either DFF or DSF files). Extracting/splitting DFF/DSF tracks from a SACD ISO using a tool like sacd_extract or ISO2DSD is the recommended way to go and there's no conversion to PCM when doing this.

Re-rip the original SACD disc to a valid ISO. . .?

There is an option for this:
Options > Audio > Advanced > Configure Input Plug-Ins > DSD Input Plug-In > Increase volume of DSD to PCM by +6dB.
I highly recommend that you do not use it, as many SACD tracks will be driven to clipping with a blind +6dB amplification.

And again: I recommend that you avoid using Media Center to convert SACD to DSD, as it decodes SACD to PCM then re-encodes to DSD.
If you are going to decode SACD to PCM, keep it in a PCM format. Don't convert it again.

I would recommend avoiding conversions to DSD if possible. If you're talking about SACD ISOs to DSD files, try one of the tools mentioned above, e.g. sacd_extract or ISO2DSD.
