(Solved!) Accidentally Marked the Genus of 8000 Files as "New Age"

I have about 8000 mp3 files on my disk. The last time I backed up the mp3 files to an off-line disk was a few months ago. Last night after playing a few files I accidentally marked the Genus field as "New Age". When I the noticed that the genus for all 8000 files was "New Age", I immediately quit MC.  :(

What recourse do I have to regain the contents of the Genus field? Do I need to restore the entire library from the off-line mp3 files, or can I restore the MC Library Backup that consists of the JMD files?

In MC under File > Library, you can restore a backup.  MC makes them automatically.
