Pop when swiching between albums with different sample rates
« on: September 14, 2019, 04:39:21 am »

Hi

I'm experiencing an issue where I get a pop sound when I switch between albums with different sample rates. Its a guitar rig and I'm using MC24 for backing tracks and learning songs etc. The DAC is a Scarlett 2i4 2nd Gen interface and seems to do a good job of handling the high res music I have from my Hifi rig. Initial research on this forum pointed to the sample rate so I tried converting everything to 192 kHz which solved the pops.

I was just wondering if there was any other way to get around this and if not, what do people usually resample to for the best results?

Thanks

Stick with that unless you have problems.  If you do, lower it to 96, then 48.
