License Problems or Questions

We've begun issuing MC26 licenses now.  MC26 isn't available yet.  Early builds will be available on the forum in December and we will let you know.  In the meantime, the license will work with MC25.0.113 or higher.

If you purchased a new license or an upgrade license after October 1, you received an MC26 license.

I am currently using MC22 and just purchased the license upgrade for MC26.  Should I download MC25 now or just wait for MC26 to be released?

My previous license was a master, but I no longer have my Mac. I purchased the MC26 Windows upgrade but the MJR reports “wrong product” if I try to update my current Windows MC registration. Do I actually have to wait for MC26? ... Please advise...

If you download MC25 now, you can use the MC26 license with it.

You need to have the most recent build of MC25.  Build 113 is on the Download Page.

I'm running Media Center 24. I purchased an upgrade to MC 25 but never installed it - Afraid it would screw up my working system. If I now wish to upgrade to MC 26, do I need to purchase another upgrade? Thanks.

I would love it if MC had color fonts. I create playlists with different genres of music that would be easy to identify while I was DJ'ing. Thanks. . . .  w.s.

I'm running version 25 on two Macs. My present key is already a Master license, installed on both Macs.

I've purchased a version 26 license and was able to upgrade one Mac immediately. This one is setup as server.

On the other Mac, I can't update. I get the message: "Your license file is for a different product".

What's the problem?

A newer build of MC25 would work.  25.0.114 or above.
