You're missing a whole row.

Try setting your font size smaller.

Try ctrl + and - after clicking in the window.

Try updating IE.  If that doesn't work, try updating Chrome.

Dear jstraight1119 did you test different skins as well?

Hi there. Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried all the skins available. No go though. Maybe my version is corrupt. I will try to re install it later.

It's not a corrupt version.  You're missing a line in the browser, so that's probably a problem with the browser or it could be a resolution problem on your monitor.

Also try the Size option in MC under the View Menu.

Does jriver support Firefox browser? That is the one I use. I tried changing font size in firefox browser, nothing. I tried clicking in the cloudplay window and pressing ctrl + or _, again all that changed was the volume. I tried updating internet explorer even though I don't use it but it just kept crashing couldn't update it. I tried setting my screen resolution to 1920x1080. Tried updationg to jriver version the newest one. I don't have chrome installed on my computer. I am on windows 7 by the way. I tried the size option in MC under the view Menu. I tried testing different skins. All nothing.

No, JRiver uses Internet Explorer and Chromium (CEF) for the internal browser choices.

Ok. I'll try to get internet explorer to update somehow and see what happens.

I'm getting interested in using JRiver Cloudplay. The post of October 2019 says that access by a WEB browser is coming. What's the status of this? Thanks. . . w.sachse

Found a couple of frustrations with Cloudplay.

1) I use Play Doctor with Cloudplay and have "Include Files from Cloudplay" set to 100%. If I then put "Country (Genre)" in the Search box I get only local files and absolutely no Cloudplay files

2) If I use a local song to seed the search then I get my 100% Cloudplay songs (apart from the seed song) but because of the lowest option being "Some Variety" then I get a mix of Genres. If I'm in the mood for Led Zeppelin style tracks then I don't want Justin Bieber or Cyndi Lauper coming up in my playlist.

Thanks for your help.

1.  You can't use a genre yet.  You can use a country artist and that should get you close.

2.  In settings you can name artists or genres you don't want.

For item 2 that would be a real pain putting in all the Genres I don't want, plus I would have to change them each time I wanted to listen to a different genre.

Couldn't we have an Option of "No Variety" and it would then just default to the Genre of the seed track

Thanks

Following on from my previous post and based on your recommendation I then updated my Rules for inclusion to say "Genre contains Country" and to make it a Belt and Braces solution I added into Modify Results "Only matches of Genre"

However I am still getting some where Genre is Blank or Pop etc

Also have noticed that within the playlist I am getting duplicate tracks

Been on 24 since release and could not justify the upgrade other than supporting the devs. Downloaded 26 to test, found Cloudplay and.....Just upgraded.  ;D

I was diagnosed with Coronavirus in early March, recovered and have been in lockdown now for almost a month. JRiver Media Center has kept my sanity.

Anyhow, thanks and stay safe!

My issue is the interface is buggy and not easy to use for finding music I am interested in.  For instance, today, here were my issues.  The interface does not remember my username and password even though that is checked.  Then I pressed the "eclectic" button and the cursor started blinking like crazy and then JRiver went gray and Windows wanted to close it. I told Windows to wait and after 30 seconds or so, JRiver returned to normal and then I gave up using the Cloudplay feature yet again.

Could we stop adding Cloudplay HTTP:\\ files to the local files list, or at least make it optional (Audio>Files from the Standard View tree.  If there is an option please let me know where it is.

I'm presently having to delete them manually

In answer to Matt.  No; "Automatically import files when played" is not enabled.

In answer to Jim, the latest (yesterday) was an uploaded playlist.  I generally don't download playlists from Cloudplay, I just play them from the site.

To me, an uploaded playlist would make less sense, as I obviously already own all those tracks and would not need access.

Got it.  It's the upload.

Next build:
Changed: Uploaded files are no longer added to the library as their Radio JRiver URLs.

Thanks for the help.

Does 26 now allow a user to stream cloudplay lists to dlna server?
25 did not but was promised that 26 would include.
I looked at the 26 wiki and didnt find it.
Let me know and i will upgrade if so.

I just installed version 26.0.80, and subsequently uploaded a few FLAC-files to the cloud (cloudplay.)
When playing the file, the music interrupts every now and then, because of buffering. What should I do to make sure that the music is streamed without interruption?

You may not have enough Internet bandwidth to play high resolution files.  You can set the limit of what you want to play in Cloudplay options.  Try 1000Kbps.  If that works, try 1500, and so on.

We will pass the 200,000 file mark sometime in the next week.  Thank you!

We also just passed 100,000 tracks streamed per month.  The first five months of this year are up about 250% over last year.

100,000 tracks played per month represents about 5,000 hours of music.

Users are very close to supporting the costs.  Thanks again!  It means that the Listener Supported model will work.  We just need to ask a little more often.

I think Cloudplay is a Super Idea.

However, its a Non Starter for me since it prohibits .wav files.

PLEASE Enable .wav files on Cloudplay.

Thanks

I wonder how well has Cloudplay been tested elsewhere than in the USA.

We have repeating problems with a cutoff in the streaming. This is more pronounced at our country house where the network is not so strong. This does not however mean that there are problems with streaming services like Netflix and others. So the only service that is not working continuously is Cloudplay.

This might be something that can be rectified with cache settings or some other setting. But I can't see that there is anything I can do about this.

I have a different PC Win 10 in the city and on the road. The 4G modem is the same in Helsinki as at he country house. My network account gives me 50Mbps delay 13ms and jitter 4ms (tested) downstream.
I think that it is possible that the problem is not here locally but in the transfer of the stream from server ower Internet to our northern region.

That's probably a bandwidth limitation.  In Cloudplay settings, you can specify the maximum bitrate to allow.  Try 1500.  You won't hear the entire playlist or, in some cases, there may be no files that play.

It's probably not related to the country.  It could be the Internet provider.

WAV files would use twice the bandwidth, without making a difference in the quality.

Lets keep aside the "without making a difference in the quality."  (Would be super if diverse opinions are accommodated)

I prefer .wav   hence almost my entire library consists of .wav files. I am not inclined to play .flac

that when users upload playlists to Cloudplay all the meta-data for each track gets uploaded also.  It's not much extra space or bandwidth to add and would be nice when listening to the playlists to see. At least use the fields JRiver has as standard.  Even date isn't available when using "Playing Now".

Thank you for your time and attention.

Having a problem syncing downloaded Cloudplay playlists across machines.

I have an MC27 client setup to play directly from an MC27 server library.  Have enabled both Authentication and Read-only Authentication on both machines.  Media is working from the client and server sides.

Problem is if I download a Cloudplay playlist on the client it shows up under "Cloudplay Playlists" with all entries but only the playlist name shows up on the server machine with no entries.  I tried to do a server sync on the client and it returns a success message but still no entries in the playlist on the server.  Then, if I restart the client it no longer has the playlist entries (likely because that is the state of the server when it reloaded the library).

If I download a Cloudplay playlist directly on the server machine - all is good and the playlists show up populated on the clients.

Thoughts?

Hi Guys, first post here, but long time JRiver user, yesterday I decided to explore the cloudplay feature and uploaded one 100 song playlist.  The process was completed, I got the email and the link.  However, when I go to Cloudplay the playlist does not show under the recent ones or under my name.  Any thoughts?  I uploaded 100 Salsa music classics in Flac format.

Thanks

I don't see it either.  Could you try uploading it again?  It will be quick to do if the tracks were successfully uploaded the first time.

What is your user name on Cloudplay?

Hi Jim, thanks for the prompt reply.  My user is Lagarto888, the playlist was created yesterday around 4:30pm.  (Puerto Rico time)  I'm able to access the playlist from the shortcut automatically created, and it shows all songs.  The playlist was just uploaded again, took less than three minutes.
