Can I add a card to the IdNUC?
« on: January 13, 2020, 12:13:00 pm »

I am interested in the IdNUC 300, but only if I can install a Pink Faun i2s bridge, I saw on the Intel site that this NUC has an open PCI slot and that should be where this card can plug in. the PF I2S HDMI card is a PCIe card. I have a Denafrips Pontus DAC, and this card is one of a few HDMI outputs that are known to work into it.

Will the Id software on this nuc allow this pci card to be installed and configured for the digital audio out?

You should probably buy MC for Linux and install a Linux distro that Pink Faun supports.  JRiver supports Debian, but there are several others supported by users in the threads on the Linux board here.
