Pono/Mac playlist question
« on: January 22, 2020, 03:31:19 pm »

Earlier today I posted this in the Pono forum.  Now I'm thinking it might be a good idea to post it here also.  I hope doing so isn't a problem and apologize if it is.

I've searched on this website and elsewhere on the web for an answer to my question but haven't been successful finding an answer.  The native Pono process for creating playlists on the device itself is manual and cumbersome and the assigned names are meaningless (numbers as opposed to descriptive).  I'd like to be able to create and name playlists on my Mac and load them onto my Pono microSD card.  Similar in a way to what you can do with iTunes and an iPod.  My question is:  Can the JRiver software be used to create and load playlists on the Pono?

Thank you.

I believe that MC will sync playlists to the Pono Player, but you can use the trial version to find out.

Read about Handhelds on the wiki.

That looks promising.  Thank you, Jim.

Should I trial MC 26 for Mac?  Or is that still in Beta?
