JRiver and QNAP
« on: January 24, 2020, 06:26:22 am »

I asked QNAP support if I could install JRIver on my QNAP NAS as part of their "HybridDesk Station" function.  They said at one time they did support JRiver but no longer citing "For JRiver specifically, we used to support it, but for various reasons, we have stopped support from it and pulled it from our devices, so I do not think that particular app will work properly anyway."

Is there any chance that JRiver will attempt to put this relationship back together?

Use QNAP Container Station to run the Docker version instead, works very well.

Lots of information in the Linux thread on how to get it running.
