I am shopping for a new CPU and MoBo.

What hardware assists are utilized by MC for AUDIO, EQ, DSP, sample rate conversion, DSP->PCM, SOX and convolution ?

I see SSE is used for convolution, but are they any others to be aware of (CUDA cores, # CPU cores, # threads, memory bandwidth, etc.) ?
