TV panel - any way to control how tv present content
« on: January 26, 2020, 01:45:57 pm »

Have a samsung TV and MC 25. If I want to initiate playback on the TV I can enter the MC DLNA server entry on the TV,  and select
(Level 1)
- All content
- Images
- Video
- Music
if i select Video, I get the following
(Level 2)
- Disk
- Movies
- Recent
- Home Videos
- Other
- Shows
These options at level 2 are identical to the default options presented under MC - Tools - Options - Media Network - Customize views fro JRemote, Gizmo & Panel...
Have tried to add "items" to the list under Video - and rename existing items, however this has no effect on what is presented on level 2 on the tv. Have also tried to setup filters (rules for file displays), however still no effect.
I have 3 TVs, and they all show exactly the same :-)
Would think that the tv are getting the level 2 "folder" names from MC (DLNA), so there should also be a way to control what is shown on Level 2, and what items (files) are shown on level 3 via the MC ... or, is this out of reach for manipulation??

Ups - maybe I should mention that I can access and play all video files from the tv without problems, so no conncetion issues :-)
