"trial expired" license error
« on: March 22, 2020, 05:33:34 pm »

My MC 25 for Windows license is suddenly missing ("trial expired") after long uninterrupted functioning. Restoration is accepted but it won't hold -- the application won't reflect the change and won't open.

I'm having the same problem described in this MC20 thread:

What is the cause--something on JRiver's end? It has never happened to me before.

Please read this:

Make sure you have MC25 installed and that an older version isn't installing the MC25 license.

Thanks Jim. MC25 is the only version ever installed on the machine. Also this doesn't explain why the license dropped in the first place. Fwiw, I have attempted to restore by pasting in my master license key, which is recognized (according to the dialog box).

A restore might be required if your machine name or your IP address changed.
