I am having issues playing a cctv video.
The ext is H264 the container is AVC

any suggestions please??

Download VLC and see if that will play it.

If VLC doesn't play it, I would strongly suspect the file.

But I'm sure Rod will be along any moment to help you out further.

i converted it online to mp4 and that plays. just that i should not need to do that

You're right.  There are a thousand things that can go wrong with video on a pc, though.  And if VLC won't play a file, it almost always means the file is corrupted or nonstandard somehow.  Congratulations on getting it working though.

really dont think its corrupt as any h264 file from the cctv does not work, I have asked before..
