JRemote connection issue

Greetings! I'm a new user of media center and I have been using JRemote on my iPhone. In my home on my wi-fi network everything works great. I've been trying to use it to play my music on my phone when away from home using the cellular networks and it just will not connect, although it did work once. I don't know what changed and I'm unsure how to proceed. My phone is a Trackfone utilizing the Verizon network and my home wi-fi is Verizon Fios 1 gig service. I would appreciate any advice.

I checked the network info as suggested and was able to solve my problem. Two things were interfering with the connection. Two firewalls were active, Windows Defender and my Verizon firewall. I shut the Windows Defender firewall off and I had to add the proper port number to my Verizon firewall.
All is well and working great!
